Believe it or not, WebSort has been available to the public for almost eight years now. Started back in 2001 by founders Larry Wood and Jed Wood, WebSort was originally created as an academic research tool. With some encouragement from colleagues, WebSort was later released as a commercial product and is now used by companies and design professionals around the world.
With our new Study Manager (released in 2008) and new website (2009), we’ve gotten a lot of great feedback, questions, and stories about how all of you are using this tool. So we’ve decided that we have a lot to offer by joining our voices to yours – those of you in the card sorting, usability, and user-centered design worlds. We’ll be sharing what we’ve discovered about the best practices in card sorting, special features of our Study Manager and how to use them, and passing along some of the experiences and lessons learned by our clients (with permission, of course).
And, as always, we look forward to hearing from you – through your comments, emails, and tweets. Here’s to many more years of working together!
